STEPS FOR STORE OPENING

·         Store Opened on Schedule time-as per store timings
·         Switch on the music & computer systems and lights and Optical Equipment       
·         All indoor areas such as entrance, clinic room, edging room, office rooms, meeting rooms, cafeteria should be mopped with a disinfectant with 1% sodium hypochlorite or phenolic disinfectants. Housekeeping staff have to mop the floor with a disinfectant with 1% sodium hypochlorite or phenolic disinfectants. He has to carefully clean the equipment used in cleaning at the end of the cleaning process.
·         Before cleaning, the worker should wear disposable rubber boots, gloves (heavy duty), and a triple-layer mask.
·         Hand sanitizing stations should be installed near the entry gate, before & after entering for an eye check-up, near the cash counter.
·       High contact surfaces such switch buttons, handrails/handles and call buttons, public counters, standees, intercom systems, equipment like telephone, printers/scanners, and other office machines should be cleaned twice daily by mopping with a linen/absorbable cloth soaked in 1% sodium hypochlorite. Frequently touched areas like tabletops, chair handles, pens, diary files, keyboards, mouse, mouse pad, tea/coffee dispensing machines, etc. should especially be cleaned.

·         The mandatory placing of hand sanitizers at the entrance of the stores.   
·         Uniform changing place. Every employee should wear masks and gloves throughout the day.
·         Demo glasses have to be cleaned with sanitizers every 3 hours.

STEPS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE/EYE CHECK-UPS
1.       Greetings (Say “Hello, Hi, Good Morning, Good After Noon”)

2.       Customers should get sanitized before entering the store.

3.       Staff should help the customers to get proper hand sanitizing from the free-standing hand sanitizer kept at the entrance and then should be allowed after being properly screened.

4.       Maintain a safe Physical distancing of at least one meter (3 Feet) to be followed at all times by the store staffs and customers while showing the spectacles, sunglasses as well as during the daily huddle. Store staffs must maintain a safe distance from customers and among each other during interaction.

10.   Before entering the eye check-up room, optometrists will use the thermal scanner on the customer for temperature check-up.

STEPS FOR DELIVERY /TRANSACTION
·         A retail store shield shall be implemented.
·         A countertop hand sanitizer has to be there.
·         Customers should sanitize their hands after making payments.
·         Staff should sanitize their hands before receiving debit/credit cards from customers.
·         Make sure the products must be cleaned and sanitized in-front of the buyers and kept inside the packets.
·         Take feedback and ensure
·         Ensure proper cleaning and frequent sanitization of the workplace, particularly of the frequently touched surfaces.
·         Provide a visiting card with the recommended product price quotation.
·         Enforce them to get their friends and family members for a free complete eye check-up.
             

STEPS FOR STOCK-IN
·         Sanitizing of the boxes and cartoons received from head offices or other stores.
·         Proper sanitizing of stocks after counting.
·         In-stock Review- Crosscheck 
·         last pieces /Shelf stocks and returns and report issues
·         Disposing of the used gloves/tissues and cartons.
·         Cleaning of hands with soap and water or alcohol-based hand-rub.
·         Use of new gloves.
  
POINTS TO REMEMBER
·         After the usage they must dispose off the used masks used tissues and gloves into the closed bins. Hands should be washed with soap and water immediately after each of them is removed.
·         Always wear mask and gloves inside the stores.
·         Frequently wash your face and sanitize your hands.
·         Clean and sanitize the trial frames now and then.
·         Ensure that the stores remain clean and hygienic.
·         Maintain a distance of 1 meter always.
·         Be Safe and make others feel safe. All store staffs are advised to take care of their own health and look out for respiratory symptoms/fever and, if feeling unwell, should leave the store immediately after informing their reporting managers.

Do's 
·         To maintain personal hygiene and physical distancing. 
·         To practice frequent hand washing. Wash hands with soap and water or use alcohol-based hand rub. Wash hands even if they are visibly clean. 
·         To cover your nose and mouth with handkerchief/tissue while sneezing and coughing. 
·         To throw used tissues into closed bins immediately after use. 
·         To maintain a safe distance from persons during the interaction, especially with those having flu-like symptoms. 
·         To sneeze in the inner side of your elbow and not to cough into the palms of your hands. 
·         To take their temperature regularly and check for respiratory symptoms. To see a doctor if you feel unwell (fever, difficulty in breathing, and coughing). While visiting the doctor, wear a mask/cloth to cover your mouth and nose.

Don'ts 
·         Shake hands. 
·         Have close contact with anyone, if you're experiencing cough and fever. 
·         Touch your eyes, nose, and mouth. 
·         Sneeze or cough into palms of your hands. 
·         Spit in Public.
·         Travel unnecessarily, particularly to any affected region. 
·         Participate in large gatherings, including sitting in groups at canteens. 
·         Visit gyms, clubs, and crowded places, etc. 
·         Spread rumors or panic.
